"Everything being a constant carnival, there is no carnival left." - Victor Hugo

Apologies for the delay in posting this. I was intending to keep to a once-a-week posting schedule, but I had a short period of my weekends being occupied, and I generally write over the weekend as I often get home late. Once I fell out of the rhythm of writing and posting, it became hard to pick things up again.

"So long as the new moon returns in heaven a bent, beautiful bow, so long will the fascination of archery keep hold in the hearts of men." - Maurice Thompson

Reading The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde

“The barriers between reality and fiction are softer than we think; a bit like a frozen lake. Hundreds of people can walk across it, but then one evening a thin spot develops and someone falls through; the hole is frozen over by the following morning.” - Jasper Fforde, The Eyre Affair

Finally, I've gotten around to reading this! I first crossed paths with Fforde's Eyre Affair when I was in Sixth Form, retaking my AS levels.
